Position Summary:

Parker Aerospace Group (Fire, Safety, and Power Division) in Simi Valley, CA, is seeking a Division Accounting Manager to join our high-performance engineering team.
Under the direction of the division controller, supervise accounting functions to ensure that all inventory costs are properly stated, according to generally accepted accounting principles.
Also, supervise activities to ensure that the corporate accounting policies and procedures are adhered to, according to generally accepted accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
·
Ensure inventory is properly costed and analyzed and prepare monthly LIFO index
·
Set annual standard costs and departmental budgets Maintain general ledger
·
Maintain property systems records
·
Provide account reconciliation and business analysis as required
·
Prepare monthly reports and analyses for the division and corporate
·
Ensure all cost and other accounting systems meet corporate guidelines
·
Maintain the highest degree of customer service, throughput, quality, cost reduction, and people productivity
Qualifications:
Experience: 7-10 years' experience in Accounting or Finance related discipline and 5 years supervisory experience preferred

Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations.
Pay Range:
$113,579 - $198,823
Work Authorization:
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; therefore, a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § is required. U.S. Citizenship/Permanent Resident is required for most positions.
