We are looking for an Interns/Co-op for the Fall 2024 semester who can work full time, onsite, with employment starting in September.
The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will work with a team of Engineers, Toolmakers, and Maintenance Mechanics that provide technical expertise to develop practical solutions for manufacturing and improvement of Andis products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with Manufacturing, Product, Quality Engineering and Production Team in support of New Product Verification Builds
Perform time studies and update routers in ERP System
Work with production team to create and revise Manufacturing Work instructions
Support and/or lead investigations to determine options for change and improvement to manufacturing process.
Process Manufacturing Change Requests.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be enrolled in an accredited technical school or university studying towards an associate/bachelor's degree in engineering. Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial preferred.
Proficient in MS Office, preferably Word and Excel. Experience with AutoCAD or Solidworks is a plus.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Engineers, Designers, supervisors, and peers.
Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
Highly motivated, good interpersonal skills, well organized and able to work independently but knows when to ask for assistance when needed.
