Job description
Our client is seeking an experienced ADMS Edge Applications SME in the utilities/energy space.
This role will focus on evaluating current operational applications (
OMS, SCADA, GIS, CIS, Asset Management, Customer Portals
), validating their role in existing workflows, and defining application capabilities required for the future-state ADMS environment.
This role is on a
contractual-basis, full-time hours, remote with occasional travel to Dallas area, projected to be 18 months project duration, and projected to start mid-March.
Job Description:
ADMS Edge Applications SME
· Review of current operational applications impact assessment (OMS, SCADA, GIS, CIS, Asset Management, Customer Portals) to revalidate their capabilities, limitations, and role in existing workflows against the identified prioritized workflows.
· Review the application capability requirements for the future‑state ADMS, identifying where upgrades, replacements, or integrations are needed, in context of Data/Integration changes in scope.
· Work with Business Analysts and Integration Architects to map each ADMS prioritized workflow to the supporting applications, ensuring operational workflows are technically feasible in the target state. Document application‑level dependencies, inputs, and outputs for each prioritized workflow.
· Collaborate with Integration Architects to ensure application interfaces are designed to support data flows, latency requirements, security measures, and resiliency expectations for ADMS operations.
· Identify the data sources managed by each application and confirm they are accessible, accurate, and complete for ADMS functionality.
Validate source data coverage for operational and analytical needs.
· Check if application‑generated data meets the quality, completeness, and timeliness requirements for ADMS workflows and analytics.
· Provide application capability sections of the blueprint, including configuration requirements, integration points, and workflow alignment.
