Job Summary

At Indian Motorcycle, we recognize that our success begins with our employees.

We are seeking qualified candidates for a Quality Engineer to join the Indian Motorcycle Factory team at our Spirit Lake, IA location.

Responsibilities

Lead Engineer for an Indian Motorcycle production line supporting the daily and long-term quality initiatives.

Maintain the manufacturing quality system.

Front line liaison to production supervisor(s) and staff in executing troubleshooting, root cause analysis and implementing corrective action on issues affecting production.

Review and communicate performance metrics for opportunities for improvement.
Assist in the specification of inspection, testing mechanisms and equipment.

Integral team member working cross-functionally with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production to ensure the successful launch of new motorcycle platforms.

Actively involved in design reviews as well as identifying significant and critical feature characteristics on blueprints.
Establish and document critical assembly component criteria and supporting process control information.

Provide direct supervision to a small team of supporting quality personnel.
Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills & Knowledge

B.S. Degree in engineering or equivalent.
1+ years of previous Quality Control/Manufacturing Engineering experience preferred.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills required.
