Title: Accounting Manager

Duration: Direct Hire

Location: Northwest Houston

Hands-on Accounting Manager needed for growing midstream company located Northwest Houston

Focus includes:

• Providing oversight to general accounting functions, serving as manager to small support staff and partnering closely with the CFO
• Lead and manage month end close process, fixed assets, tax ( sales/use and property tax), regulatory reporting, p-cards, technical accounting, and treasury functions
• Manage accounts payable/accounts receivable functions, serve as the point of contact for external auditors, complex reconciliations, quarterly FERC and annual reporting to the Railroad Commission of Texas, Oversee assessments and accounting for leases (ASC 842)
• Support annual budget process and payroll functions including collaboration with Human Resources and Executive Management on bonus payment calculations

Targeting candidates with:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred
• 3+ years of public accounting experience (Big 4/larger regional firm), 3+ years in a similar role with industry knowledge and leadership experience
• Financial reporting experience as a preparer and/or auditor, internal controls knowledge, payment card administration (Visa Intellink, Spend Clarity)
• Strong understanding of accounting standards (GAAP) and tech savvy Knowledge in SAGE Intacct preferred, extensive and advanced Excel/Word required.
• Great communicator with strong interpersonal skills who enjoys being hands-on and working high level
• Offering $120k-140k depending on experience + bonus
• Role is onsite M-F
