    Industrial Cleaner Job Description

    We are seeking an Industrial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation within our manufacturing facility.

    • Cleaning and Sanitizing:
      • Utilize specialized cleaning chemicals and equipment to clean and sanitize surfaces, floors, and equipment.
      • Perform tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down walls, grates, conveyor lines, machinery, robotics, and other relevant areas.
      • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
    • Physical Demands:
      • Work occasionally in confined spaces and from heights (up to 10 feet) to provide cleaning services.
      • Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) for moving supplies, materials, and equipment.
      • Engage in repetitive tasks, including bending, prolonged standing, and walking.
      • Use blasting equipment as needed.
    • Safety and PPE:
      • Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) including retrieval harnesses, steel toe footwear, safety glasses, and protective gloves.
      • Follow all safety policies, practices, and protocols.
    • Additional Responsibilities:
      • Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team promptly.
      • Perform routine cleaning tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
      • Notify management of any supplies that need restocking.
      • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

    Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

    To excel in this role, you should have:

    • A valid driver's license.
    • Previous experience working in an industrial environment (preferred).
    • The ability to perform all functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
    • Comfort with repetitive and physically demanding tasks (such as bending and lifting).
    • Availability for weekend work and overtime as required.
    • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
    • The capability to commute to the site location for work.
