    We are hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to oversee a NAVSEA program based in Washington, DC in a hybrid capacity.

    What will you do?
    Provide support and expertise in the use of the Enterprise Testbed and the Combat Systems Test Bed (CSTB).

    Recommend technical M&S approaches to improve M&S consistency across all IWS combat system T&E; capture test programrequirements and ensure their submittal for inclusion into higher fidelity threat models; foster the re-use of existing models.

    Recommend technical approaches to migrate element system models to a system-of-systems M&S framework in an efficient manner that fully supports the T&E requirements of multiple Ship Classes and combat system configurations.

    Build and support visualization models to display pre-event visualizations, real-time situational awareness displays, and post-event reconstructions of radar, weapon system, and other systems under test.

    Employ operations research and design of experiments techniques to all phases of test planning and execution to ensure tests and M&S runs satisfy test objectives.

    Maintain System Engineering (SE) artifacts including Risk Management Plans (RMP), Systems Engineering Plans (SEP), Program Management Plans, Integration and Configuration Management Master Plans (ICMMP) and Capabilities Matrices in single locationaccessible to approved government personnel.

    Assist with coordinating all M&S Testbed pre-test activities, Test Readiness Reviews, execution of Enterprise Testbed Tests, and distribution of data for analysis.

    Provide Testbed support for Probability of Raid Analysis (Pra) Accreditation Reviews, Test Plans, Readiness Review Packages, TestOperations Assessments, Data Distribution and associated Readiness Reviews in accordance with test schedule and/or events.

    Provide technical subject matter expertise during VV&A of the Enterprise Testbed, the CSTB and other M&S applications supporting IWS T&E to ensure the applications are acceptable for evaluating performance against specific threats outlined in applicablerequirements documents.

    Coordinate and document VV&A efforts in accordance with DoD guidance and instructions.

    Evaluate and report on M&S tools during M&S Corporate forums that can replicate threat targets not available in the current Navy target inventory or are cost prohibitive for use during at-sea testing; create and coordinate V&V documentation and data analysis of the tools m to ensure they represent specific threats; provide analysis and recommendations on cost performance trade-offs on parameters, characteristics and signatures; provide the documentation for assessment and an accreditation decision.

    Do you have what it takes?

    Must meet one of the following:
    A) a high school degree, or a GED, and five (5) years of relevant program management experience to manage large major programs, systems development, and technology initiatives in support of program initiatives, including the responsibility for managing programs overall cost, schedule, performance and risk, performing oversight of personnel management and security, and applying relevant government policies and guidance in their program management, OR

    B) a bachelor's degree, or higher level degree, in a relevant field and three (3) years of relevant program management experience to manage large major programs, systems development, and technology initiatives in support of program initiatives, including the responsibility for managing programs overall cost, schedule, performance and risk, performing oversight of personnel management and security, and applying relevant government policies and guidance in their program management.

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
    Must be a US Citizen.
