    West Monroe has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Senior Consultant or Manager with proven capabilities in manufacturing operational improvement to join its growing Consumer and Industrial Products (C&IP) Practice.

    You will be expected to provide day-to-day oversight of multi-workstream engagements focused on improving production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and/or safety functions. In addition to client responsibilities, you will play an active leadership role in the practice by leveraging subject matter expertise to teach and mentor other consultants. This role will contribute to the thought leadership of the firm and will support business development pursuits as required.

    Candidates should have the ability to conduct data-driven assessments and identify actionable insight across people, process, and technology. Ability to quantify financial impact generated through these efforts must be demonstrated.

    Additionally, candidate must have the ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities. This role will guide teams, manage risks, build client capability, and streamline performance. It will also develop and maintain relationships with a range of clients spanning from middle management to C-suite executives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience (MBA degree preferred)
    • 5+ years experience managing and delivering operational transformation/continuous improvement programs OR 10+ years in an operational or technical leadership role within a C&IP related industry
    • Knowledge of manufacturing improvement concepts and tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, TQM, OEE, RCA, FMEA, VSM, SMED
    • Membership and visibility in relevant professional organizations preferred
    • Ability to travel 80%

    Skills:

    • Strong business and financial acumen with functional knowledge of the consumer manufacturing value chain (discrete and/or process manufacturing)
    • Self-starter who is deadline-driven and able to navigate ambiguity.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize recommendations.
    • Great communicator with exceptional verbal and written skills
    • Strong facilitation and coaching abilities
    • Team player who collaborates well with others

    Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
