Asset Management Process AnalystLocation: Richmond, VADuration: 7+monthsType: Contract*Local Richmond, VA candidates required due to onsite requirement **This position requires onsite work several days a week, NO exceptions *Job Description: The client is seeking an individual who has experience assessing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on a statewide ITIL compliant Asset Management program.

Specific attention and expertise with inventory management for an Enterprise workstation environment to include workstations, mobile devices, printers, software, and other various end user asset tracking.

Experience with policy, process, and procedures preferred.

The candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders, ensuring that all processes adhere to governance standards and are optimized for efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing IT asset management processes within the client.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the client to collect process-related data and insights.
Identify areas of inefficiency, bottlenecks, and compliance risks.
Document the client specific ITAM processes, including workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process maps.
Provide training and knowledge sharing to the client internal staff on optimized processes and best practices.

Extensive experience in IT Asset Management, particularly in workstations, mobile devices, printers, software, and other various end user asset tracking.

Strong knowledge of ITAM best practices, ITIL principles, and the client governance.


Required:

Experience in business process engineering, IT process improvement, or related roles, preferably in a government or large organizational context.

Experience in IT Asset Management, particularly in workstations, mobile devices, printers, software, and other various end user asset trackingExperience collaborating and interfacing with stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Ability to produce various forms of documentation such as processes, workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures, and process mapsKnowledge of reporting tools (ie. PowerBI), data analysis, and process monitoring.
