    **LOCATION: ElderOne**

    **DEPARTMENT: Transportation**

    **SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8-5**

    **ATTRIBUTES**

    One (1) year of driving experience (maintain a current and clean driving record)

    Class C license required, Class B license preferred (with passenger endorsement)

    One (1) year of experience with frail, elderly population preferred

    Understanding, kind and patient focused

    Demonstrated patience and superior driver skills

    Superior customer service, communication and interpersonal skills

    **RESPONSIBILITIES**

    **Transportation.** Transport residents to and from programs, outings and appointments in a timely manner and according to procedures; ensure the safe operation of the bus for all traffic and weather conditions; assure patient satisfaction

    **Vehicle Maintenance.** Maintain vehicle and request non-routine maintenance; maintain vehicle run log

    **Development.** Attend meetings and participate in requested training/activities/courses; demonstrate ability to prioritize workload; communicate any issues with staff

    **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
