    We are seeking a HVAC Technician to join our Hollywood, FL team

    CKS Packaging is a leading manufacturer of plastic bottles and containers, with 27 locations throughout the US. Our HVAC team is responsible for maintaining and repairing chillers, compressors, and cooling systems within the plant.

    Experience we are looking for:

    • Ensures operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance requirements on support equipment which includes chillers, air compressors, air conditioners, cooling tower, refrigeration systems, etc..
    • To follow sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
    • Troubleshoot equipment and perform mechanical and electrical repairs
    • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical operation and listening for problems;
    • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
    • Request spare parts as necessary
    • Make mechanical adjustments using the correct hand tools.
    • Maintains technical knowledge by reviewing technical publications
    • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
    • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
