    Your Work

    In this role, you will:

    • Be responsible for performing data analysis which includes inspecting, profiling, transforming with the goal of discovering useful information, suggesting conclusions, and supporting decision-making.
    • Ability to own and manage portfolios and multiple assets within healthcare portfolio and partner with analytics and business counterparts in providing solutions.
    • Perform data analysis, gap and impact analysis for medium to large sized assignment (with mid/large number of data elements, one-to-multiple sources, business impact, and visibility)
    • Drive data analysis and profiling for complex data issues with options and recommendations
    • Develop extensible and flexible data analysis process based on long term strategy and promote reuse of existing structures when possible
    • Work on multiple projects as a project leader or sometimes as a project advisor on projects of varying complexity
    • Use documented procedures to create source-to-target mapping, capturing business and technical metadata, and complete data lineage.
    • Partner with Business Subject Matter Experts, Business System Analysts, Solution Technical Leads, Data/Application architects and development teams to analyze data requirements to ensure data design is aligned with business strategy, project and scope
    • Highly proficient in SQL skills with ability to manipulate and analyze high-volume, high-dimensionality data from various sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques
    • Ability to perform ad hoc, live research to demonstrate/present data issues, patterns, relationships, findings and/or recommendations, risks, and assumptions.
    • Ability to work with cross functional teams: data stewards, architects, data governance, data modeler, data quality, development, solution leads, and QA team to address data and mapping questions
    • Work collaboratively with data quality analysts, data stewards, and data governance team to resolve data quality issues
    • Influence stakeholders to make product improvements that yield business value by effectively making compelling cases through storytelling, visualizations, and other influencing tools
    • Mentor and provide guidance to peers and junior staff
    Your Knowledge and Experience

    • Requires a bachelor's degree preferably in computer science, statistics, or mathematics or equivalent experience
    • Requires at least 8 years experience in data analysis
    • 8+ years of hands-on experience in SQL, including querying large and complex data sets
    • 8+ years of experience in one or more relational or columnar databases or appliances like Snowflake, DB2, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Netezza, Redshift etc.
    • 8+ years acting as team lead or leading individual effort is required
    • Experience in cloud architecture, Azure framework, data vault methodology and data catalog tool like or similar to Collibra.
    • Strong experience in data management, data integration, data warehouse, data virtualization and data quality design patterns and techniques.
    • Preferred working experience in Domain models, Canonical models and API interfaces.
    • Proven track record of full life cycle successes from inception to successful completion and production support
    • Ability to effectively communicate status, design, and approach to management/business sponsors/product managers.
    • Familiar with standard software development tools, including incident tracking, version control, documentation and testing systems.
    • Self-directed works with limited management direction and exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of the assignment.
    • Experience with iterative development life cycle methodologies and application of those principles, especially agile development practices.
    • Demonstrated experience working with vendor partners, cross-functional and development teams in terms of end-to-end technical delivery.
    • Strong analytic, process flow, problem-solving, communication, customer service, organization skills, required.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    • Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
    • Prior Healthcare experience is a plus.
