    It is expected, per the program, that the firm will provide the necessary and properly secured equipment needed to perform the job.

    client is currently seeking an experienced Informatics Analyst to support our client at The New York State Immunization Information System (NYSIIS) based out of Albany, New York.

    This is a hybrid position that requires 50% in office presence.

    This person will support the client in daily quality assurance responsibilities that include data analysis, business analysis, and healthcare provider onboarding to include various technical testing methods.

    This person should be experienced in using SAS Programming for data management and analysis.

    This person will be expected to attend client and bureau meetings, review and understand state immunization requirements, and assist Electronic Health Recording companies with proper interface upgrades that align with New York State Department of Health.

    This person will be expected to work in a collaborative environment with other Quality Assurance Analysts that report to the New York State client on a daily basis.

    Job Duties:

    Collaborate with various stakeholders and teams including New York State client, New York State healthcare providers, and Electronic Health Recording companies.

    Provide project team and stakeholders with actionable insights and reports based on data to support decision making efforts for immunization registry upgrades.


    Provide quality assurance and informatic analysis support to New York State healthcare professionals.

    Provide administrative support to New York State healthcare professionals.

    Assist healthcare organizations with account updates as needed.

    Attend daily, weekly, and monthly client meetings.

    Ability to analyze Health Level Seven (HL7) global standards and provide interface support to Electronic Health Recording companies.

    Ability to create/review queries (SQL, SAS, Python, etc.) for summarizing and reporting.

    Ensures completeness and accuracy of data within project context and interpretation of data.

    Understand and enact requirements provided by the New York State Immunization Information System (NYSIIS).

    Develop test plans and requirement documentation to support code modifications and upgrades to the New York State Immunization Information System (NYSIIS): Local Implementation Guide for HL Immunization Messaging.


    Ability to create and understand excel reports, including formulas, tables, and graphs for client tracking updates.

    Assist in the development of data specifications and technical support documentation.

    Maintain client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential to align with HIPPA standards.

    Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Apply program rules and policies to support health care provider's compliance needs.


    Required Qualifications:

    A minimum of a bachelor's degree in healthcare or public health study with at least 2 years of related experience is required.

    An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    SAS System:
    SAS/BASE, SAS/MACRO, SAS/SQL, SAS/GRAPH, SAS/ODS


    Required Skills:
    Ability to work with and relate to staff and demonstrate active listening skills.

    Ability to communication effectively with stakeholders, clients, and quality assurance team.

    Experience working with Electronic Health Record Systems.

    Experienced and skilled in SAS programming.

    Skilled with SAS schedule manager and automation of output, macros, reporting via tables, figures.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
