The Center for Experimental Neurotherapeutics (CENT) is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Bioinformatics Research Scientist to lead the integration and analysis of a broad data set that includes clinical data, multi-omics (genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, proteomics) and radiomics(quantitative imaging features). This position plays a critical role in advancing systems-level insights into disease progression.The Bioinformatics Research Scientist is responsible for designing, developing, improving,
modifying,
and operating data analysis pipelines. Manages projects and coordinates other efforts related to analysis
and infrastructure as directed.
This position requires strong programming skills,
a background in biological sciences or chemistry,
a strong understanding of bioinformatics tools and techniques,
a proven track record of successfully leading teams
and delivering results under tight deadlines.
- Independently perform basic and advanced level statistical analysis
- Maintain databases; coordinate data collection database implementation usage hardware software related
