    Senior Engineer - Furnaces

    Job Description Summary:

    Furnace engineer for the mechanical scope of Technip-proprietary olefins pyrolysis furnace projects located in both domestic and international markets. Assignment is in the Technip Energies Houston operating center.

    Job Duties:
    • Develop the scope of work for PDP, FEED, and detailed engineering phase of furnace projects.
    • Assist in the preparation of material requisitions for furnace components.
    • Produce mechanical datasheets, specifications, scope of supplies, and bill of materials.
    • Review and manage submitted vendor drawings and other documentation.
    • Provide engineering support by answering technical questions and requests.
    • Identify scope changes or deviations and notify project team.
    • Ensure conformance to applicable government regulations, engineering codes and standards as well as company QA system, policies, and procedures.
    • Provide furnace engineering support by answering technical questions / requests, and providing field support to resolve issues.
    Qualifications/Competencies/Experience:
    • BSME from an accredited university
    • Minimum 5 years experience
    • Experience reviewing specifications, producing requisitions, performing technical bid evaluations, and reviewing vendor documents
    • Knowledge of ASME Code and applicable API standards (i.e. B31.3, B31.1, Section I, Section VIII, API 530/560)
    • Software knowledge should include Microsoft Office applications
    • Professional licensure in the U.S. is preferred
