Experience in manufacturing environment, preferably within automotive industry.
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Skilled in the use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, drop gauges, Micro Vue, and steel rules.
Evaluates production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements
Collaborates with management and senior staff to draft acceptable quality standards
Develops and implements quality standard testing and evaluation process
Facilitates communication among all divisions and management
Perform random plant audits/inspections
Review quality control documentation, reports and procedures for effectiveness, accuracy and relevance
Reports status of quality control metrics to leadership and, when required, regulatory agencies
Must be able to travel up to 25%
