- Collaborate with the software department to integrate innovative tools and platforms into the assessment development process.
- Collaborate with the sales department to develop effective marketing strategies.
- Oversee the enhancement and maintenance of our item bank, ensuring it remains a robust repository of high-quality assessment materials.
- Implement strategies for ongoing item bank improvement based on feedback, trends, and educational research.
- Conduct ongoing market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging educational needs, providing valuable insights to inform assessment development.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, fairness, and validity of all assessments.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to uphold the highest standards of assessment quality.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including subject matter experts, software developers, and writers to create assessments that meet the diverse needs of students, teachers, and educational institutions.
- Generate schedules and style sheet guidelines for writers, freelance proofreaders, and curriculum experts.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and creativity.
- Advanced degree in Education or a related field preferred. Bachelor's degree required.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of project management experience required.
- Minimum 4 years of assessment development experience required.
- Proven track record in leadership roles, demonstrating the ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage high-performing teams.
- Commitment to observing culturally responsive pedagogies in assessment design.
- Expert knowledge of educational standards and emerging trends in assessment methodologies, including: development best practices, quality assurance, and long-term budgeting strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely in a respectful and courteous manner.
- Proficiency in data analysis and understanding of assessment data interpretation.
