    JOIN OUR TEAM AS A TRANSPORTATION (ROADWAY DESIGN) ENGINEER

    EBA Engineering, Inc.

    (EBA) is actively seeking a Transportation Engineer Join our committed team of professionals where you will play a pivotal role in designing transportation systems that enhance efficiency, safety, and accessibility.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • Assist in the planning and design of transportation-related facilities
    • Design roadway alignments, intersections, drainage, utilities, and transportation facilities using industry-standard software
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive transportation plans and designs
    • Develop roadway geometry
    • Prepare engineering calculations and technical reports
    • Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates
    • Ensure projects adhere to quality control and safety standards
    • Prepare contract task order proposals
    • Conduct field visits during design and/or construction
    • Participate in client and public meetings

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
    • 5+ years of experience in transportation facility and highway design
    • Experience working with Maryland Department of Transportation and Maryland city/county government transportation projects
    • Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, Bentley InRoads, Autodesk Civil 3D, and AutoTURN
    • Must possess an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
    • Maryland Professional Engineer license is desired but not required
    • Excellent oral and written communication
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Knowledge of AASHTO, FHWA, and MDOT design codes and standards
