    Quality Assurance Lead - About this role

    As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts within Upsiide and other web applications.

    You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to gather requirements and analyze testing needs.

    Leads at Upsiide are individuals with a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality, and bring ideas to the table.

    We need an individual with experience managing and growing a team, introducing processes, and /re-inventing how we improve overall quality.

    Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    Provide leadership and guidance to the QA team, including mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
    Design and implement testing strategies, test plans, processes, and automation strategies for the growing QA team.
    Oversee the implementation and maintenance of automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy of testing processes.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to ensure alignment on quality goals and priorities.
    Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices for software development and testing processes.
    Create analysis reports and communicate results to the Upsiide leadership team.
    Develop and implement manual and automation test plans to support Upsiide releases.
    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of the QA process.

    Experience, Skills and Requirements:
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
    Proficiency in testing methodologies, test automation tools, and quality management systems.
    Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
    Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and influence positive change.

    Nice to have:
    Experience with version control.
    Software QA automation experience working with any of the following scripting languages: Java, Java Script, Python, etc.
    Experience with test automation frameworks like Puppeteer, Cypress, Selenium, Playwright.
    Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
    BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
