- Build and manage field service team of 12
- Manages service team members in South Florida.
- Manage scheduling and training of field service technicians and chemical delivery specialists
- Establish performance goals for designated team of technicians. Coach and guide direct reports in order to deliver company expectations in safety compliance, quality, customer satisfaction
- Provide leadership, technical guidance, and continuing education in all areas of field operations to improve the quality of service and own the bay behaviors
- Monitor and manage expenses, revenue, and margin targets
- Review financial statements and data and utilize information to improve profitability.
- Prepare and control operational budgets and inventory
- Plan effective strategies for the financial well-being of the business unit
- Communicate with customer and travel to assigned locations to promote good customer relations, ensure quality service and secure contracts
- Act as primary point of resolution for escalating customer issues and/or complaints, as well as internal/local concerns and complaints; resolves or escalates matters as necessary
- Monitor service metrics and KPIs
- Conduct QCs, field audits, site safety audits, and damage claim assessments
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelors degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in field service
- Minimum of 3 years managing an electro-mechanical team; proven history of ability to train, organize, lead, and motivate a team to succeed
- Overnight travel will be required
- Strong business acumen including understanding of P&L, financials and KPIs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess a strong electrical-mechanical skill set
- Strategic thinker with proven track record in problem solving and analysis
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google
- Strong negotiation skills required
- Ability to prioritize multiple customer needs and/or conflicting priorities
- Six Sigma and/or Lean certification is a plus
- Knowledge of carwash equipment preferred
