Title: Material Handler

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for performing a variety of manual labor tasks within a warehouse environment, including receiving, storing, and moving materials, as well as preparing orders for shipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or similar environment, be physically able to lift and move heavy objects, and have strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Receive and unload incoming shipments, ensure accuracy with purchase orders
Store materials properly labeled and organized in designated warehouse areas
Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) for moving materials
Prepare orders for shipment and verify correct product loading onto trucks
Conduct inventory counts and report discrepancies
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and maintain equipment
Assist with loading and unloading trucks
Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times
Perform additional assigned tasks

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior warehouse or similar environment experience
Able to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and operate material handling equipment
Strong organizational and communication skills
Capable of independent and teamwork
Forklift certification preferred
