    Bold Reuse is a full-service reuse platform that eliminates single-use waste.

    We've already eliminated more than 4 million pounds of packaging from the landfill, and we're just getting started Our mission is to make the circular economy a reality for any business that wants to reduce its packaging waste.

    We're embarking on the next phase of our story - expanding our footprint to new markets across the US. We're looking for a Director of Operations with the ambition and passion to make a difference and eliminate waste.

    This position will be based in either Seattle, WA or Portland, OR and will be expected to work in-person at a Bold Reuse operations facility.

    We're growing quickly and are excited to add to our team. This is a unique opportunity to get in at the beginning and help build something special

    The Director of Operations will oversee the effective operations for Bold Reuse across our current and future markets, including team and asset management, financial oversight, enhancing client satisfaction and contributing to the overall health of the company.

    You Will
    Oversee all operational functions of Bold Reuse services in markets where we operate, including sanitation and logistics.

    Build and implement an operations strategy that supports the scalability and growing complexity of the business while ensuring smooth, consistent operations.

    Collaborate across all levels and relevant departments of our business to create dynamic organizational structure and operational playbooks that support growth, innovation and learning.

    Effectively manage managers with different skill sets to successfully lead operations teams.
    Leverage data to set priorities and test hypotheses while seeking continuous improvement in operating performance.
    Advocate for technology projects that enable our operations to scale while becoming more efficient over time.

    Manage our supply chain ensuring that we have equipment, supplies and materials on hand to keep up with rapid business growth.

    Communicate guidelines, goals, purpose and vision to team members while still allowing for local autonomy and decision making.
    Act as an internal role model in modeling company values and bringing out the best in others.

    Identify and advocate for top performers within the company who are ready, able, and excited to take on greater responsibility.

    You Have

    8+ years of management experience in the manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution industries and, preferably, experience working with a small, fast growing startup.

    A demonstrated record of excelling in an operational environment and developing high-performing teams
    Strong analytical skills demonstrated by previous experience using systems for tracking complex workflows, determining ROI, and developing clear, data-driven strategies to achieve and exceed KPIs

    Experience keeping yourself and a team highly organized and able to prioritize tasks and meet competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

    Compensation and Benefits:
    This position has a salary range of $80,000 - $95,000/year. This range is a good-faith estimate for this position.

    The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, which include a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.

    The compensation package for this role also includes opportunities for equity. Additional benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays and paid time off. At this time, we can only hire US-based candidates.
