    Contract Specialist/ Supply Chain Specialist
    • Contract Duration 4+ months
    • Pay rate up to $55 - $60/hr on W2
    Job Description:
    • Under limited supervision, prepares CWA's, S nd Change Orders, and other contracts.
    • Ensure timely contract approvals according to relevant delegation of authority or governance
    • Reviews the validity of change order requests, negotiates co-terms and amounts, and prepares contract change orders from field change order summaries
    • Handles contractor relationships to continually improve quality, service and cost
    • Maintains legal requirements for contracts, makes updates as required, and works with Law on contract review
    • Supports senior contract specialists with research and analysis
    • Supports the identification and mitigation of contract risk and issues
    • Prepares and delivers contract status reporting
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience
    • Three years of work experience in contract and/or project management or other legal/regulatory field
    Desired Qualifications:
    • Significant training in, contracts, purchasing, organizational management, or process/project management.
    • Knowledge and experience in drafting contractual terms and language
    • Knowledge and experience in contract negotiations
    • Understanding of contractor safety requirements
    • Comfortable and effective verbal, written, and multi-channel communications to meet the needs of various audiences
    • Experience and capability with Ariba, SAP (invoicing/billing functions), database management
    • Competency using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Detail oriented, to ensure high quality, timely, accurate work products and to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
    • Utility Industry experience
    • Supply Chain experience
