    Responsibilities:

    Berkley Environmental is looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst to partner between operations, IT and our business units to provide support.

    IT support related to business analysis, data analysis, quality assurance testing and support related to a variety of software applications.

    Business support related to Commercial Auto, General Liability, Workers Compensation, and Non-Admitted Lines of business processing.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and evaluating user requests, as well as coordinate and monitor requests through to successful resolution.

    The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, managing multiple projects at once while serving as the subject matter experts for the operational team.

    The individual must be detailed oriented and proactive. Additionally, they should be solution oriented to help develop the best and most efficient ways to continually improve.

    The individual will be able to work with minimal supervision and go above and beyond for our business partners and in assisting their team members.

    Serves as a conduit between the business community and ITCritically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needsAssist in the collection and consolidation of information to document the business requirements on project initiativesEffective communication with internal teams and external vendors to deliver functional requirements like user screen and interface designsProvides backup for other Business/Operations Analyst team membersReview, recommend and update policies and procedures to improve performance, company policies and business processes.

    Strive to consistently improve the overall efficiency, value, and internal support of the operations.

    Enhance workflow and cross-departmental engagementsDevelop working relationships with internal working counterparts (IT, accounting, claims, underwriting and others) to facilitate productive exchanges of information to improve efficiency and promote compliance.

    Perform all other duties as assignedQualifications: 1-2 years as an analyst in a professional settingExperience working with a commercial insurance carrier with exposure to Commercial Auto, General Liability andWorkers Compensation lines of businessPartner closely with business user community to ensure cross-functional alignment to meet goals with an excellent sense of customer serviceExcellent communication and analytical skillsRobust problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiating skillsExceptional organizational skills while working on multiple project initiatives, managing schedules and meeting deadlinesSuperior logical, analytical and reasoning abilities with close attention to detailExperience working in a large, matrixed environment where leadership, co-workers and necessary resources come from different geographical regionsEducation Requirement Bachelors degree in related area preferredAdditional Company Details:
