- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Detailed understanding of equity trading and options knowledge a must
- Must have strong client relationships in equity and/or equity derivatives
- General market knowledge and keep current on world events
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively target messaging to different audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg, Power Point
- On-boarding institutional and hedge fund accounts
- Cultivate new relationships in equity and equity derivative execution
- Maintain high level relationships with existing accounts
- Cross asset selling within the eco system of BGC Partners when applicable
- Work with other sales team members to originate/improve sales literature

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000
The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
