    Description:


    The San Diego Refugee Communities Coalition (SDRCC) represents a unified front of ethnic-community based organizations (ECBOs) across San Diego County.

    We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Campaign Manager to lead our efforts in developing and executing a localized campaign aimed at combating stigma associated with mental health and substance use.

    Focused on serving Black, Asian, and Middle Eastern youth and families from refugee and new immigrant backgrounds, this pivotal role involves overseeing the creation of culturally tailored campaign materials, fostering engagement with community stakeholders, and coordinating strategic outreach initiatives to achieve our campaign objectives.


    Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning:
    Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop a comprehensive campaign plan, ensuring alignment with organizational and funding goals. Lead the design and development of campaign messages, themes, and strategies.

    Team Leadership:
    Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of staff, including a Community Outreach Coordinator to support campaign initiatives. Provide guidance and support to ensure effective execution of project tasks and objectives.

    Community Engagement:
    Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, leaders, and influencers to facilitate collaboration and participation in campaign activities. Coordinate community events, workshops, and outreach efforts to raise awareness and promote campaign messages.

    Content Development:

    Oversee the creation of culturally relevant and linguistically accessible campaign collateral, including short-films, stories, posters, memes, videos, and informational flyers.

    Ensure that all materials align with campaign goals and effectively communicate key messages.

    Capacity Building:

    Build the capacity of peer-led ethnic-community based organizations to co-design and deliver culturally and linguistically relevant public health campaigns.

    Provide training and technical assistance to ensure successful implementation of campaign initiatives.

    Qualifications

    Master's degree in a relevant field preferred

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in nonprofit management or a related field

    Proven track record of successful budget management and financial oversight

    Strong leadership and team management skills

    Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

    Ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.

    Experience with grant writing and reporting preferred.

    Experience working with refugee and immigrant communities.
