    Minimum Requirements:


    2 years experience in a network environmentAssociates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degreeWorking knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office Suite.

    An MCSE certification (Desktop Infrastructure) and a working knowledge of VM, Java, and .Net environments preferred.


    Knowledge of:
    Problem solving by using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches.
    Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
    Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
    Understanding the implications of the latest information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.


    Ability to:
    Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with end-users and technical peers.
    Work effectively under stressful conditions.

    Position Summary


    Responsible for the daily operation of computer systems and peripheral devices; install, configure, and support the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.

    ``` - Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. - Monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption. - Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. - Assists in Data Processing Area network administration for all computer hardware and network applications. Administer network security measures. - Responsible for training of the employees regarding network systems and security protocols.


    Duties:
    Develop and maintain all computer systems.
    Support and train employees in the use of all computer systems.
    Ensure that the network is operational and provides services to all users.
    Deploys, configures, maintains and monitors PC hardware and software, as well as printer hardware.
    Maintains and administers computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
    Maintains security access to various systems.
    Plans, coordinates, and implements network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
    Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications or virus protection software.
    Responsible to review the issues log and incoming issues and resolve them or triage them, as appropriate.

    Performs routine maintenance on equipment and determines the types of service and intervals necessary to ensure efficient equipment operation in a cost-effective manner.

    Performs data backups and disaster recovery operations.
    Maintains the computer supplies inventory and equipment service contracts.
    Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves hardware, software, or other network and system problems,Replaces defective components when necessary.
    Maintains computer hardware, installs software and device drivers.
    Set-up new users, workstations, and printersAssist users with all desktop applications.
    Furnishes comprehensive recommendations for necessary changes to enhance employee productivity.
    Data entry in various databases as needed.
    Initiates projects and assists in other functions as directed
