Job Summary:

Function and Responsibilities

• The Mortgage Servicing Specialist performs the following duties:
• Maintains mortgage information including payment postings, import and funding new loans and updating member information, processing payoffs, curtailments, monthly statements, adjustments, account research, etc.
• Answers members' questions regarding payoffs, escrows, change of owner, note modifications, discharges, beneficiaries, and other details of existing loans.
• Prepares routine letters to members. Processes monthly PMI billing to the provider. Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education

• One to three years of similar or related work experience. High school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills

• Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.
