    Description

    The Product Quality Engineer (PQE) is responsible leading teams to resolve complex customer quality issues spanning across organizations and geographic regions.

    The PQE takes a lead role in problem solving, coordination of team resources, facilitating communication between team members, driving the issue to closure, and communicating the results to customers in written reports.


    Responsibilities/Duties:
    Lead cross-functional global 8D teams to ensure expedient resolution of customer quality issues from initiation to closure
    Create a collaborative team environment, resolving conflicts to ensure goals are met
    Promote engagement with manufacturing, business units, and quality management
    Facilitate the use of structured problem-solving tools (Is/Is-Not, Fault Tree Analysis, Fishbone, 5-why)
    Execute fast, effective containment
    Drive thorough root cause investigations and develop effective corrective actions (occurrence, escape, and systemic)
    Deploy lessons learned across organizational boundaries
    Write reports for customers, ensure updates are provided on schedule and maintain accurate records in internal systems
    Contribute to continuous improvement activities
    Represent Analog Devices in customer quality interactions
    Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
    Minimum 5 years semiconductor experience
    Ability to effectively communicate complex issues (both written and verbal)
    Project management and leadership skills with experience in achieving milestones in a

    cross-functional

    team
    Ability to multi-task, manage rapidly changing priorities, and cope with ambiguity
    Proficiency in technical writing, independent research, and data analysis
    Strong practitioner of structured Quality problem-solving skills
    Experience with automotive customer requirements is desirable
    Experience with working directly with customers is desirable
