    The Strategic Enterprise Account Executive role is a vital position focused on generating, managing, and securing business relationships with Strategic Enterprise clients. Your collaboration with our demand generation, solutions engineering, and product teams will guide potential customers in modernizing their cloud platform architecture. By understanding our customers' unique challenges, you will help them achieve outstanding business results with Upbound's innovative solutions.

    In this role, you will establish strong relationships with product, marketing, sales development, and customer success teams to provide exceptional account leadership throughout the entire sales process.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Achieving or surpassing your sales targets aligned with Upbound's revenue goals.
    • Serving as the primary contact and representative for both potential and existing customers.
    • Engaging in sales activities, including prospecting and creating opportunities within customer accounts.
    • Navigating complex strategic enterprise sales processes with multiple engagement points.
    • Ensuring the smooth deployment and adoption of Upbound products and services, with both pre-and post-sales engineering support.
    • Taking charge of your business by accurately documenting buying criteria, processes, and key stakeholders to maintain pipeline integrity.
    • Identifying and implementing enhancements to sales processes, tools, and resources.
    • Traveling to customer sites and industry events as necessary.

    You would be a great fit if you have:

    • A successful track record of meeting or exceeding annual/quarterly sales goals, consistently ranking among top performers.
    • Experience selling to large enterprise Fortune 500 companies and navigating multi-national organizations.
    • A background in selling AI, Cloud, or infrastructure platform products.
    • Expertise in solution and value-based selling in the enterprise cloud, cloud-native, and AI products sectors.
    • The aptitude to accurately estimate and qualify opportunities using MEDDICC methodology.
    • A strong desire to build a thriving business, a passion for identifying and closing deals, and a commitment to company growth.
    • A relentless focus on customer success and meeting both current and future customer needs.
    • Experience cultivating strong relationships with senior IT and business executives.
    • Excellent written, verbal, online, and face-to-face communication abilities.
    • A professional demeanor, detail-oriented mindset, and strong follow-up capabilities.
    • A collaborative spirit and a willingness to tackle challenges beyond your immediate responsibilities.
    • A genuine enthusiasm for your work and a positive attitude.

    It's a plus if you have:

    • A deep understanding of cloud-native infrastructure, AI solutions, and/or tools like Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef).
    • Extensive experience in selling disruptive technology in targeted markets.
