    Duties

    • Set up and operate CNC lathe
    • Mill machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
    • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements
    • Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures
    • Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process
    • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of dimensions
    • Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain quality standards
    • Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
    Qualifications

    • Previous experience operating CNC lathe machines
    • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
    • Familiarity with hand tools, tooling, and precision measuring instruments
    • Strong knowledge of programming and operating CNC machines
    • Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and conversions
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain quality control standards
