    Description
    Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

    We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for the upcoming school year. This is a part-time contract position in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate must meet all requirements set by local and state regulations. Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities.
    • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' communication goals.
    • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
    • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy interventions as necessary.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information.
    • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of students' educational plans.
    • Stay informed about current research, best practices, and trends in speech-language pathology.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
    • Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of New Mexico.
    • Experience working with special education students and families preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
