- Complete requisitions for exams promptly and schedule them accurately.
- Conduct diagnostic Radiographic/Fluoroscopic/CT exams both in the department and with portable equipment.
- Administer IV contrast media when necessary.
- Perform various exams, reconstructions, and printing protocols.
- Detect equipment issues to diagnose problems with radiographic machines and processors.
- Explain procedures to patients and address any equipment-related queries.
- Ensure safe patient transportation to and from the department.
- Manage supply orders and maintain appropriate levels.
- Participate in mandatory training and orientations.
- Collaborate with the floor staff to enhance patient care.
- Three (3) years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and valid state license.
- ARRT or CMRT certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Up-to-date Continuing Education in all licensure areas.
- Prior experience with facility-specific equipment is advantageous.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the Radiologic Technologist is responsible for preparing patients for diagnostic procedures, explaining the scanning process, and ensuring correct positioning for precise imaging. The Technologist operates equipment effectively to capture cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues.
