    This position can be based at our site in Minneapolis, MN or Sterling Heights, MI.

    As a Dynamics and Controls Engineer, you will:

    + Provide analysis in the areas of dynamics using physics based modeling and simulation.

    + Create mathematical models including Matlab and Simulink.

    + Resolve any design or production related manufacturing issues that arise unexpectedly in a timely manner.

    + Interact with internal customers to meet Technical, Schedule, and Budget needs.

    **Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

    + Master s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in Dynamics and Controls

    + Autonomous vehicle system experience is required

    + Experience in design, analysis, simulation and development of physical system models

    + Solid understanding of underlying principles of applied mathematics and vehicle dynamics

    + Experience in analysis and simulation with Matlab / Simulink

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills

    **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**

    + Ph.D. degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in Dynamics and Controls

    + Active secret security clearance

    + Experience modeling and simulating vehicles, engines, electric motors, batteries and component controls

    + Proven record of problem solving and helping the company to meet its customer demands

    **Pay Information**

    Full-Time Salary Range: $ $128480

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
