- Function as a Team Player, always ready and able to attend meetings and briefings to take notes and collaborate on the Program Manager's behalf.
- Act as an action item coordinator for taskers related to pre-commissioning efforts (both tracking and follow-up).
- Conduct product support in the development and update of briefs for multiple ship classes including DDG/CG/LSD/LPD.
- Provide manpower and training support to various new construction and modernization programs
- Provide support to PMS339 Pre-Commissioning with various functions including: CSPP Reviews and preparation, act as a liaison with Military personnel for End of Tour (EOT) awards and performance evaluations / fitness reports.
- Leads and/or participates in working groups, program development forums, analytical activities, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), training, education and other forums as required to accomplish contract requirements.
- Facilitate training working group meetings.
- Analyze training and manpower recommendations for new systems.
- Reviews and analyzes budget Task Planning Sheet (TPS)
- Develop briefs supporting programmatic pre-commissioning requirements.
- Attend meetings and briefings to take notes and collaborate on the Program Manager's behalf
- An Active Secret Clearance is required at time of application.
- Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years directly relevant work experience.
- In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 10 years applicable work experience.
- Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.
- Navy shipboard experience as Senior Enlisted / Junior Officer
- Demonstrates superior writing and presentation skills to develop briefings, documents, papers, conceptual, and analytical reports.
- Proficiency in MS applications (Excel {Including Macros}, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Effective writing and presentation skills to develop briefings, documents, papers, conceptual, and analytical reports for clients.
- The ability to travel once a quarter or as directed to various CONUS locations.
- Ability to effectively translate and communicate technical details to senior leadership.
- Forward-thinking, highly motivated, and capable of being given an idea and maturing it into a product.
