    The Uber Eats Consumer Experience team is responsible for helping eaters find and order the food they want quickly, accurately, and delightfully.

    In this role, you'll be working closely with colleagues across Business Development, CommOps, Operations, Engineering, Data Science, Product, Design, Research, and Marketing to bring your ideas to life.

    You will be an Engineering Manager on the Eats Consumer Experience team, creating experiences that guide consumers through the shopping experience from discovery to storefronts to checkout.

    You'll manage a full-stack engineering team that owns the back end and the front end.
    5+ years of experience in software development
    ~ Outstanding technical skills (backend engineering, object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms): Uber managers can lead from the front when the situation calls for it.
    ~Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Math, Statistics, or related field
    ~ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and analysis implications clearly across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
    ~ Great management and team development skills: the ability to set a roadmap and goals for a team and every one of its members, delegate intelligently, mentor engineers, deliver frequent and transparent feedback, help team members grow in their careers, and deliver results

    Demonstrated success in identifying and prioritizing business questions and using quantitative techniques using available data to deliver solutions to address these questions
    Strong background in building consumer-facing products. Experienced in working with and building strong relationships with Designers, Product Managers, and Data Scientists.
    Strong data analysis, problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and bias for delivering results.
    Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through the actual launch of the project

    Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements and describe software product features and technical designs.

    Proven experience of shipping high-quality product features on schedule.
    A great teammate and owner- willing to take on ownership of the systems and think about operations, maintenance and reliability of their systems
