    NY Kids Club & NY Preschool is inspiring today's children to succeed in tomorrow's world with our love for play— and we're looking for a Weekend Maintenance Team Member to join our growing team

    Here's what a Weekend Maintenance Team Member's day looks like:

    • Safety is our number one pillar Ensure the center meets all health and safety standards at all times through adherence to our daily protocols
    • Consistently keep the centers clean and orderly by sweeping and mopping all hard surface floors and baseboards, emptying all trash receptacles, vacuuming all carpeted areas including floor and walls and dusting air-intake/exhaust vents
    • Keeping our space crystal clear by ensuring all surfaces including glass, mirrors have that clean shimmer
    • Routinely sanitize bathrooms, ensuring each toilet, stall, sink, countertop, and bathroom floor are fastidiously clean
    • Support our health and wellness standards by disinfecting all used toys, materials and gymnastics mats
    • Take care of all the refilling of cleaning supplies and report any necessary supply needs to the Center Director

    Requirements:

    This job is for you if you:

    • Have a High School Diploma or GED- required
    • Be personable, professional and possess a working proficiency of English
    • Have high standards of cleanliness and take pride in your work
    • Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently
    • Physically perform maintenance duties/lift up to about 50 lbs.
    • Have availability Friday evening -Sunday

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, engage in constant movement, and use hands and arms to feel and reach. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and crawl, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific sensory abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is also frequently required to taste and/or smell, and regularly required to talk and/or hear.

After 1-year of employment your MetroCard will be paid for by the company. Additionally, you will be eligible for a discounted membership through CitiBike.

    Pay rate is $17.00 per hour
