    The Teaching Principal will embody the spirit of VCA, leading with vision, empathy, and innovation, while directly engaging in the classroom setting.

    This role is uniquely positioned to influence our academic and spiritual direction, ensuring personalized and inclusive education for all students,including those with special needs, and spearheading our virtual learning initiatives.

    In the past year, VCA has embarked on a transformative journey, collaborating with an educational coach to implement systems key to our success.

    This partnership has already borne fruit, reflected in a significant enrollment increase.

    The incoming principal will be expected to embraceand build upon this momentum, working in harmony with the coach, who will be with us for another year.

    This role is for a leader who can integrate seamlessly, uphold the positive trajectory we've established, and contribute meaningfully to our community's vibrant future.

    Experience:

    • Demonstrated success in educational leadership and classroom management.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement curriculum that accommodates a range of learning needs.
    • Experience in managing school operations, budgeting, and staff development

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in educational leadership and classroom teaching, with an emphasis on Grades 3-8.
    • Strong capabilities in special needs education and/or willingness to enhance knowledge in this area.
    • Experience or readiness to lead in virtual learning environments.
    • Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with the school board, faculty, and the community.
    • Commitment to continuous professional and personal development, embracing feedback for growth.
    • Active membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, with a passion for integrating faith and learning

    • Capability to inspire, motivate, and support faculty and students in achieving excellence.

    Open to students in grades K-8, Valdosta Christian Academy was founded on Christian principles to prepare young people for service to God and man.

    Valdosta Christian Academy is operated for the purpose of training and developing well-rounded students for service to God and man focusing on their physical, mental, and spiritual needs using Biblical principles as taught by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
