    Position Overview:


    DP Development is looking for a Land Entitlement Manager to join our Charlotte, NC team who embodies our core values of execution, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail.

    This role is pivotal for ensuring the smooth progression of our projects through the entitlement stage, including securing land use and permitting approvals efficiently and effectively.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the entitlement process, securing necessary permits and approvals to advance multiple projects.
    • Manage and coordinate all consultants including landscape architects, civil engineers, environmental consultants, geotechnical engineers, and more.
    • Due diligence management, including the procurement and analysis of proposals, review of reports, and detailed discussion with consultants as needed to address areas of concern.
    • Lead rezoning and annexation petition approvals including attending and presenting at neighborhood meetings and public hearings as needed.
    • Conduct thorough reviews to ensure engineering work meets all project specifications and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project design, approval, and permitting processes.
    • Manage detailed project tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and compliance tracking.
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with municipal agencies and representatives, consultants, and industry partners.
    • Utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
    • Communicate with leadership about any changes in regulation for specific submarkets.

    Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in land entitlements and familiarity with zoning and regulatory compliance, preferably with at least three years experience.
    • Exceptional analytical and project management skills, capable of working independently on detailed tasks.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for fostering professional relationships.
    • Basic knowledge and understanding of the land development process and construction documents, allowing for proficient management to deliver a "buildable" project.
