Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced Special Education Teachers for full-time positions withschools near the Killingly, Connecticut area. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the educational success ofstudents while gaining valuable experience in the educational field. Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Active Connecticut SPED license and teaching certificate.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Prior experience working with students with special needs is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and for students with special needs when needed.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Provide direct instruction in academic and functional skill areas.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to support student success.
