    Job Summary

    The Lineman performs a variety of duties related to the installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of overhead telecommunications lines.


    Essential Functions:

    • Performs construction work such as digging holes, climbing telephone poles, placing and removing poles and anchors
    • Pulls and strings wire / cable from pole to pole; lays cable and conduit in the ground
