This Role:

We are currently seeking a junior to mid-career level Treasury Analyst. Our ideal candidate will have some previous hands-on experience in treasury cash management but will be eager to learn from our experienced team and grow within the field. This will be a full time, Monday-Friday, hybrid role based at our Kentwood, MI innovation center (hybrid = 2+ days/week in-person)

What You Will Do:

The Treasury Analyst will assist Duravent Group in meeting its business objectives by assisting the Treasury Director in the management of the groups liquidity, especially the monitoring of all current/projected cash inflows + outflows.

How You Will Do It:

Responsibilities/tasks as assigned, including:

• Cash Management

Update cash position of each bank account for previous day activity

Formulate daily cash flow analysis and provide executive summary

Investigate unexpected or unknown transactions

• 13-week Cash Forecast (short term)

Update actuals for prior week and provide explanations for variance vs. prior week forecast

Update forecast weeks for 13-week outlook with focus on current week to understand free cash flow generation/use and expected net debt position

• Indirect Cash Forecast (mid/long term)

Update model at conclusion of month with actuals

Update periodically as new P&L forecast/outlooks/budget become available

Look for ways to improve accuracy of forecast, simplify model and increase visual appeal

• Monthly Business Review Presentation Materials

Update PowerPoint slides for key metrics, analysis of cash flow variances, trends in interest expense and performance of working capital.

Coordinate with other finance leaders to update commentary on PowerPoint slides.

• Debt Management

Prepare interest expense roll forward and accrual recommendation to accounting at month-end.

Make recommendation on debt draw downs or paydowns.

Execute scheduled principal and interest payments.

Run quarterly covenant compliance process for submission to lenders.

• Interest Rate Risk Management (Hedging)

Monitor for effectiveness of existing hedges and make recommendations for additional hedges.

Review for adherence to interest rate risk management policy.

• Foreign Exchange Risk Management (Hedging)

Update FX Rates for EOM each month and send to distribution list.

Monitor for effectiveness of existing hedges and make recommendations for additional hedges.

Review for adherence to interest rate risk management policy.

• Ad-Hoc (projects)

Reconcile outstanding checks.

Set up tax payments for ACH credit.

Manual ACH/Wire Request Form.

• Ad-Hoc (recurring)

Review/action Positive Pay.

Review/action ACH Filter.

Initiate EFT payments (ACH/Wires).

Manage users and entitlements in Bank Portals.

What Were Looking For:

We are seeking candidates who:

• Hold current/valid U.S. work authorization without requiring future sponsorship (required)
• Are available to work in Kentwood, MI (required)
• Hold previous professional experience in a treasury/cash management (strongly preferred)
• Are capable of utilizing formulas, pivot tables, and other functions within Microsoft Excel to appropriately manage data (functional assessment will be given)
