    Responsibilities/Qualifications


    Stability Title, a subsidiary of Drees Homes and First Equity Mortgage, is seeking candidates for an Office Assistant position in our Plano, TX office. In this position you will be responsible for and/or be the back-up for various operational functions within the department. You will answer incoming calls and greet visitors in a friendly and helpful manner.

    Some responsibilities include:

    • Monitor the general email accounts for each title division and open files in various case management systems
    • Monitor and follow-up with closing company to maintain the title closing calendar in Outlook and case management system
    • Order tax certificates for all closings
    • Provide support for updating final title commitments and preparation of forms and invoices for payment
    • Prepare and distribute reports, manuals and procedural documents
    • Upload and maintain documents to the company intranet
    • Distribute marketing materials to Drees Divisions
    • Assist with scanning and/or imaging documents
    • Handle incoming and outbound overnight packages
    • Responsible for ordering office supplies
    • Miscellaneous administrative responsibilities

    Some Requirements include:

    • Ability to create and run reports and interpret data utilizing Excel
    • 2 years experience in residential mortgage/real estate experience preferred
    • 2-3 years experience working in a professional office or administrative position
    • Title Examination experience preferred
    • Experience with Softpro Select and/or DataTrace a plus
    • Knowledge or experience with escrow accounts helpful
    • Strong math aptitude
    • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
    • Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy in your work
    • Goal oriented team player with problem solving skills
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • TDI license for escrow and/or title preferred
    • A high school diploma is required
