    Learn more at or visit are hiring a Regulatory Specialist I as a full-time, remote position in the Specialty Products business unit of PLZ Corp.

    This position supports regulatory compliance and hazard communication to our customers and employees for products marketed, manufactured, and sold in the U.S.

    and Canada.

    This team is responsible for compliance of liquid and aerosol automotive functional fluids, lubricants, adhesives, pesticides, and paints for the consumer and industrial markets.


    Key Responsibility:


    Applied knowledge and experience with all appropriate regulations (Federal, State, country, regional and/or local), such as EPA, OSHA, CPSC, Health and Environment Canada, VOC, Prop 65, etc.

    Defined areas of responsibility include data maintenance, label reviews, SDS authoring, special projects, and overall responsibility for regulatory compliance of designated product types (liquid and aerosol)

    Evaluate data and interpret regulations, then apply that knowledge to support compliance decisionsSupport new product development and product reformulations as needed to ensure regulatory complianceManage and prioritize multiple projects and day-to-day responsibilities in a fast paced environmentQualifications:

    Bachelor degree in Biology, Chemistry or other related degree or commensurate experienceMinimum of 2 years' related experiencePrevious experience with SDS authoring and label reviews preferredSAP, Product Vision knowledge is a plusAerosols and/or liquid filling experience/knowledge preferredEffective communication skills, verbal and writtenStrong problem solving and decision making abilitiesAbility to understand business requirements and balance with compliance decisionsPLZ Corp offers a robust suite of benefits including:Medical, Dental & Vision benefits.
