The Schwab Advice Academy is a year-long rotational program that sets you up for a career in financial planning and advice within the Wealth and Advice Solutions sector. Through a mix of learning, hands-on experience, and mentorship, the Advice Academy is created to set you up for thriving in a fast-paced industry.
We are currently open for applications for our upcoming 2025 Advice Academy classes in Feburary and August (located in Lone Tree, CO, Westlake, TX, and Phoenix, AZ).
** Relocation support might be on the table for individuals moving out of state to be part of the Advice Academy**
As a part of our Academy, your journey towards a role in advice and planning begins with studying for and clearing the necessary securities license exams. Subsequently, you will undergo training to equip you for delivering exceptional service and assisting our clients with their trading requirements. Following your training, you will undertake rotations within 4 distinct Wealth & Advice Solutions divisions. These immersive rotation experiences will enhance your product and industry knowledge while being coached on the interpersonal skills crucial for long-term success in your advice & planning career through real client engagements, guidance, and wealth management training. Upon completion of the Academy, you will transition into a position within our Schwab Wealth Advisory (SWA) Centralized Service Team. In this capacity, you will act as a representative of Schwab, aiding in educating and troubleshooting issues by handling incoming calls from retail clients (individual investors) enrolled in this wealth management service.
