Electrical Engineering Senior SpecialistIn this role, you will work as part of a team to design and develop systems using Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) computing and networking products. This includes working with Product Leads and other team members on tasks related to the development of COTS-based hardware infrastructure systems.
You will research and select servers, workstations, add-in interface cards, storage devices, and other COTS hardware. Your expertise in engineering BIOS and operating system configuration definitions is also required.
This position involves collaborating with cross-functional project teams making up larger programs or supporting internal research and development efforts. You will be responsible for designing COTS hardware infrastructure systems such as X86-based processors.
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline
- Minimum five years professional experience in emerging/legacy hardware software including Unix Linux operating systems;
- Experience developing implementing computing networking information technology infrastructure through rigorous design documentation process;
- Practical knowledge of project management;
