    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled Tax Manager to join our team at a family-held real estate business in Seattle.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Review and oversee state and local tax preparation and filings of the tax staff person.
    • Prepare and review quarterly income tax estimates, extensions, and tax projections for S-corporation, partnership, trust, gift, and individual returns.
    • Assist in tax compliance activities, planning, and research.
    • Review fixed asset accounting and rollforwards using SAGE software.
    • Collaborate with the tax director to reconcile general ledger accounts and record real estate acquisitions and disposals.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required; a Master's degree with a concentration in tax is preferred.
    • A minimum of 5 years of related experience; proficiency in Pro System tax preparation software is an asset.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with accountants, operations, and upper management.
    • Strong verbal/written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    This is a hybrid role with two days in office, offering a unique opportunity to work with a great company and people. The salary range is $140k to $150k plus bonus, with strong benefits.
