    Position:
    Senior Data Analyst- STRICTLY LOCALS NEEDEDLocation: Boston, MA (Candidates from Rhode Island RI, New Hampshire NH, Connecticut CT and Massachusetts can be submitted)

    Job Details:

    • This position requires someone who can understand both the big picture and detailed requirements and act as the lead contact for requirement explanation, questions and issue resolution.


    The Data Analyst should be able to understand how the requirements map to the technical solution and ensure the scope and requirements of projects are met through the implementation.

    Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with end users, and subject matter experts to gather and document business requirementsGathers business requirements through a variety of techniques (e.g.


    work sessions and interviews) and facilitates design workshops (Business).Clarify and elaborate requirements when they are ambiguous, change, or conflict with other business requirementsReview system design approaches to ensure they fully meet the business requirementsWrite use cases, business rules, and other artifacts such as user guides and activity flow diagrams to effectively articulate and represent business processes, desired outcomes, and requirementsProduce key documents both in written and presentation format.


    Qualifications:
    At least 10 years of IT experience.
    At least 6 years of experience as an analyst responsible for managing requirements of large complex projects.

    At least 2 years of experience with a Facility and Asset management applications such as IBM Tririga or MAXIMO.Knowledge of business process analysis and/or re-engineering using various methodologies such as RUP and agile methodologiesStrong knowledge of process flow diagraming techniques such as Swim LanesAbility to translate complex business needs into use case modelsFamiliarity with reporting and ETL tools a plusBachelor's degree with a major in the field of computer science, information systemsWorking knowledge of Relational Databases, Data Modeling and Analytics skills; Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence theory and concepts.
