    Job Summary

    The Communications & Marketing Data Analyst serves as the data expert supporting the data-driven model of success for the division while supporting all CM functions to achieve the goals set by the institutional strategic plan. He/she is responsible for the development, analysis and reporting of intelligence systems supporting CM.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include; but are not limited to:
    • Assist with the planning process through data manipulation and analysis. Develop systems and processes to serve as the planning foundation for CM functions. Communications & Marketing utilizes the following platforms for their data: Google Analytics (GA4), YouTube Analytics, Sprout Social, Critical Mention, Onclusive, Google Data Studio, HotJar, Pathify (app).
    • Develop and monitor results from CM efforts focusing on return-on-investment indicators. Report results on a timely, regular basis. The frequency of reports will be weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually as well as on-off reports.
    • Develop environmental assessments and market analysis as part of all CM project plans.
    • Supports and reports all web and digital-related activities to ensure high performance and the best user experience.
    • Works collaboratively and appropriately communicates with superiors and staff. Maintains departmental service standards. Collaborates with others across the enterprise.
    • Perform all other job-related duties/tasks as assigned.


    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration or business-related field, with a minimum of three years of experience to include analytics experience.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Google Analytics 4 knowledge (certificate recommended but not required)

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

    Time management, ability to take constructive feedback, Google Analytics 4 knowledge, ability to provide actionable insights from data, clear and concise communication, proactive, design skills for creation of reports, ability to work individually as well as in a group. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.

    Shift/Salary/Benefits

    Shift: Days; Monday - Friday (work outside of the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position)

    Pay Grade: 15

    Salary: $38,913 - $52,476

    Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
