    Med Tech (Chem/Hema) Position Available

    Are you a Medical Technologist looking for a job south of Mooresville, North Carolina? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

    Details:

    • Full-time position
    • Shift: Evenings OR Nights (5x8s)

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology
    • MT ASCP certification
    • Previous lab experience and knowledge
    • Experience with high-volume chemistry, hematology, and coagulation testing

    Job Summary:

    • Directs and performs various laboratory procedures for diagnosing and treating diseases, including chemical, microscopic, bacteriological, immunological, hematological, and coagulation studies.

    This role involves operating equipment to analyze specimens qualitatively and quantitatively, identifying abnormal trends or results, and making necessary decisions and corrections.

    Essential Functions:

    • Completing daily procedures and ensuring equipment maintenance
    • Keeping work area clean, organized, and stocked
    • Conducting manual calculations accurately
    • Analyzing and reporting test results, following specimen rejection protocols
    • Serving as the in-charge tech when needed
    • Prioritizing tasks, ensuring safety procedures, and maximizing productivity
    • Ensuring accurate patient billing for tests performed
